       Payap University, led by the President, Apicha Insuwan, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Wallapa Songprakun, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Research, and Dr.Patchara Boonteerarak, Dean of the International College, visited Maranatha Christian University in Bandung, Indonesia, f r o m March 25–28, 2026.
On March 26, 2026, both institutions participated in the MOU Signing Ceremony and held a strategic meeting with the university’s leadership, led by Prof. Dr. Frans Umbu Datta, Rector, along with the executive team.
Key activities included a visit to the university hospital, academic discussions, and a guest lecture titled:
“Beyond the Native Speaker: Rethinking English for Global Communication," given by Dr.Patchara Boonteerarak.
Both universities explored collaboration in areas such as research collaborations, faculty and student mobility, international community service, student study tours, and other joint academic initiatives.
Maranatha Christian University aspires to become an independent and self-supporting higher education institution, fostering knowledge across arts and sciences, inspired by Christian values and the teachings of Jesus Christ.
